2. In short
This start page sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, embeds no external fonts or scripts and stores no personal data in the browser. Only technically necessary server log data is processed.
3. Hosting and server logs
The website runs on a virtual server operated by UAB Hostinger Operations, Švitrigailos g. 34, 03230 Vilnius, Lithuania. When you visit, the web server automatically stores the following data in log files: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system and referrer URL.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Log data is deleted after 14 days at the latest unless it is needed to investigate a security incident.
4. Applications on subdomains
The applications reachable on subdomains of bitwalker.cloud are prototypes and are usually password-protected. They are accessible to invited testers only. Different or additional privacy information may apply to these applications and is provided there. When signing in, the data required for access (e.g. username, session cookie) is processed; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
5. Contact
If you contact us by email, the data transmitted (email address, content) is stored to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Disclosure to third parties
Personal data is not passed on to third parties, except that the hosting provider processes data as a processor in the course of operating the server.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority: in Austria the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at), in Germany the state authority responsible for you.
8. Changes
